| A final thought: In early 1998, in a UK hospital, a child was born 122 days too soon at 22 weeks - 2 full weeks before the cut-off point for an abortion. Given little chance of survival, the baby boy not only survived, but thrived; a testimony to the skill of doctors and nursing staff.
Ironically, the baby was safer outside the womb than inside. Outside he could enjoy the full protection of the law, but inside that same UK law says he would have been young enough to be legally terminated. |
