Gay Pride, Pink Power, Homosexuality, Lesbianism. This modern sexual revolution comes under a number of titles. But what ever it is called, it has led to a severe case of.....
Dis-orientation

Let's get one thing clear from the start. Whatever a person's sexual orientation, on a social and legal level, is a private matter between them and their partner, and there are laws preventing discrimination against a person by reason of, among other things, their sexual orientation. So in our modern culture, what adults do in private is very much there own business, provided it is within the laws of the land.

Why then do militant homosexuals wish to not only parade their sexual orientation in public, but, as was graphically demonstrated on Easter Sunday 1998 in Canterbury Cathedral aggressively force their opinions on others? gay lambda symbolAt that Sunday Service, on the most holy of days in the Christian Church Calendar, the service was rudely and crudely brought into chaos when Peter Tatchell and others stormed the pulpit with their placards and aggressive demands.

Imagine if this had been a homosexual rally which was stormed by Christians! Doubtless Mr. Tatchell would be bleating to the press in the time it takes to use a mobile phone.

Of course this is just one example of homosexual militancy which insists on taking their brand of sexuality, not only out of the closet, but onto the streets, into the schools, into the public arena and into your home.

Do you want your children taught that male to male, or female to female sexual activity is a normal and perfectly acceptable mode of sexual behaviour, as normal as heterosexual behaviour?

Well, it's happening across the UK as you read this.

gay flag symbol Sodomy at 16 legal in the UK!

In November 2000, the UK Government pushed through a change in the law, using a device known as 'The Parliament Act', to make gay sex at 16 legal in th UK. This was done despite the overwhelming rejection of the Bill by the House of Lords on two previous occasions, and against the overwhelming wishes of the public.

They had previously tried on 22nd June 1998, and although Members of Parliament were given a free vote, they had voted in favour of the reduction. However, common sense was retained by the vote in the Upper House ('The Lords') who rejected the call and voted heavily against the proposal by 290 to 122.

Want to know what the Catholic Herald thought about the way Catholic MP's voted?

On 25th January 1999 these same MP's held another free vote to reduce the age of homosexual consent to 16, with the Government gaining a majority of 183. The matter again went to the Upper House on 13th April 1999, where it was defeated as before. The vote was 222 to 146, with Baroness Young leading the way for common sense and right. Is it any wonder the UK Labour Government wanted to abolish this same upper house, which they have effectively done? The Labour Government remained committed to seeing this law passed - they are wrong to want to do so, and "The Curious? Web Site" and many other groups stood opposed on this issue.

The Government was firm in its commitment to a third attempt to push this unrighteous legislation through and this has now happened via the Parliament Act. In a disgraceful act of apathy, despite the importance of this vote, over 300 MP's failed to turn up to the House. These are the men and women who are YOUR representatives!

Now, let's make it 14?: Almost immediately, militant homosexual, Peter Tatchell, called for the lowering for the age of consent to 14! In other words, legalised paedophilia!

Clause 28: In July 2000, UK Ministers, continuing their commitment to abolishing 'Clause 28' of the Local Government Act, the law banning gay propaganda in schools, suffered a humiliating defeat in the House of Lords. The repeal of Clause 28 was defeated by 42 votes, despite the Labour Government padding out the Upper House with 'instant' Lords to bolster the vote in their favour. The revolt was led by Baroness Young, encouraged by a grass-roots campaign led by the UK Daily paper, The Daily Mail.

The combined effect of the abolition of 'Clause 28' and the reduction in the age of homosexual consent to 16, would have been to place homosexual relations on a moral and legal equal footing to heterosexual ones, and would have lead to active promotion, especially in school, of homosexual behaviour.

However, there are still those, including many in the Church of England, who fudge the issue by saying that, "both marriage and stable relationships" are the foundation of society, causing their own Synod (ruling council) to accuse their Bishops of "selling out children".

Presumable, someone with a 'stable relationship' with their dog or cat, can now be considered a 'family' in the legal and moral sense?

Others, such as Jeffrey Weeks, a veteran gay activist, in his report, "Families of Choice", describe the replacing of the traditional family with, 'homosexual networks'. He calls this process, 'detraditionalisation'. His report also called for the abolition of the legal status of (traditional) marriage.

So while a battle is won, the ideology remains alive.

The Curious Web Site wishes to applaud the Lords for retaining common sense - so far - and the Daily Mail Newspaper for its sustained campaign to retain the legislation; also the Jewish and Moslem leaders for having the courage that the C of E leaders do not.

Speaking of the C of E. In February 2004 the General Synod opened the door to allow formal blessings of gay relationships, when it adopted a report which opens the prospect that same sex relationships may "fall within the scope of legitimate diversity". This action comes hot on the heels of the controversy over the appointment of gay Bishops. Anyone else think the C of E has lost its way? We do.

Why is this government and the C of E so intent on bowing to the gay MINORITY cause?

Do you want a Government that is willing to bow to unrepresentative, and minority pressure?

If you don't, what are you doing about it? Time to get off your backside and into action perhaps; write to your Member of Parliament at: House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA

So let's make one other thing clear. Homosexual behaviour is not, nor ever has been, an acceptable form of sexual activity. Who says? GOD does! Along with lying, stealing, sex outside of marriage, adultery, witchcraft and numerous other activities, it is referred to quite plainly as SIN which means it is wrong.

Now GOD hates these sinful things we do, but he loves us as people, people he created.

GOD has a plan to deal with our sinful behaviour. If you want to find out what that plan is, have a look at finally.

If you don't, just remember; all of us will eventually have to give an accounting to GOD for our behaviour, and no amount of placards, banners and slogans will count for anything then.
