Andrew Peddie

My Grandfather was Reginald Peddie and his wife was Eliza. Their children were Anne, Albert, James, Reginald, Thomas, Brian (my father), Eileen and Harold.

I have brothers Gary, James, Adrian and sisters Teresa and Carole.

I originate from Stoke-on-Trent, though I now live in Chester.

There is quite a tribe of Peddie's in Stoke, who are mostly (if not all) related. More specifically, Bucknall or Hanley, where my own Father was born and my Grandfather lived. Though it seems certain that our origins are intially Scottish, I have no real records. I am proposing to ask around for as much info as I can to try and see how Peddie's first made it to Stoke.

I am certain that the Joseph Peddie of Bucknall, Hanley whose death is recorded by the war graves commission below is a fore-father:
