I am looking for information on Alexander E Peddie, born 03 April 1825 in Scotland. In the 1901 census of Bidwell Twp, Manitoulin District, Ontario, Canada he was with the family of my maternal grandparents, Cornelius Johnston Ferguson (son of John Ferguson and Mary Jane Johnston) and Mary Scott (daughter of William Scott and Caroline Skippen). Alexander was listed as an uncle; he emigrated from Scotland in 1832, and was a retired carpenter.
He died on 06 May 1904 in Galt, Ontario (Waterloo County); he was a widower. I would like to find out how he is related to my ancestors.
